HEITEC Slovensko implemented a semi-automatic production line for a major automotive supplier for the assembly and testing of special parts that control the charging process in electric cars.

In contrast to new acquisitions, retrofits can be an economical way to increase productivity and compliance with safety guidelines, ensure spare part availability, and lay the groundwork for Industry 4.0 solutions. They prevent unnecessary downtime and safeguard our customers’ plants and machines.

As part of the “Digital twins for industrial products and processes” event sponsored by the SME 4.0 Competence Center Chemnitz, a variety of cases were presented for the practical and successful use of digital twins.

Many companies have cut back their slots for trainees – which will mean a shortage of many skilled workers tomorrow. At HEITEC, we’ve set ourselves the goal of countering that trend by adding more occupations and openings for training.
